How to apply for Good Standing

This service proves that your business has complied with all legal and tax obligations. It allows the registered business to obtain a certificate confirming that they have passed the solvency test and are not subject to bankruptcy. It is often required when applying for loans or government contracts, or participating in tenders, demonstrating your company’s reliability.

All registered businesses in Rwanda  can apply for it when needed

How to apply for the Good Standing?

You can apply online through the One Stop Center platform: onestopcentre.rdb.rw.


  • Requirements Before You Apply

Make sure you have the following:

  • You must have an account. To create an account, click here.

  • A valid mobile phone number or email (optional) to receive updates and track your application.

  • A valid Tax Identification Number (TIN).

  1. Application Submission:

After successfully submitting the application, the applicant receives an application number (C2…), which can be used to track the status of the application at any time.

  1. Certificate/License Delivery:

  • Once your application is approved, you will receive the good standing certificate  via the email provided during the application process.

  • The certificate is valid for 6 months.
