Filing an annual return ensures that your business remains compliant with Rwandan laws by submitting updated reports and financial statements. This process allows you to declare your company’s profits, losses, and other key financial information.
Who is eligible to apply for this service?
All registered businesses in Rwanda are required to file annual returns.
How to apply for the annual return filing?
You can apply online through the One Stop Center platform: onestopcentre.rdb.rw.
Requirements Before You Apply
Make sure you have the following:
You must have an account. To create an account, click here.
A valid mobile phone number or email (optional) to receive updates and track your application.
A valid Tax Identification Number (TIN).
You must prepare the following documents:
Financial statement or Audit report
Annual returns must be filed starting from the year your business was incorporated.
Returns must be filed sequentially (you cannot skip a year)
For the current year, a provisional financial return is required.

Next Steps and support information
Application Submission:
After successfully submitting the application, the applicant receives an application number (C2…), which can be used to track the status of your application at any time.
Certificate/License Delivery:
Your application will be reviewed, and one of the following may happen:
Your submission is reviewed and found to be in order.
Returned for correction: You may be asked to make adjustments (e.g., clear outstanding debts or update missing information) before resubmitting.
Sanctioned: If serious compliance issues are found, your business may face penalties or other legal actions.
