How to Apply for Agrochemical Premise Registration

This service allows a business operating agrochemical premises to register and comply with Rwanda Inspectorate, Competition and Consumer Protection Authority (RICA) regulations. This registration certificate is then used to obtain an operating license.
Requirements before applying
To proceed with your application, you will need:
An active OneStopcenter account. To create an account, click here.
A valid Tax Identification Number (TIN).
A valid mobile phone number or email address.
Required attachments
Prepare the supporting documents required for agrochemical premises registration.
Copy of passport
RICA Registration Certificate
Business Registration certificate from RDB
Notarized diploma of qualified personnel as determined by the law governing agrochemicals in Rwanda.
Notarized contract of qualified personnel
Location requirements:
50m from schools, health facilities, watercourses, open stormwater channels or catchments, and areas subject to flooding (100m for warehouse)
20 m from food manufacturing areas (50m for warehouse)
10 m from food and beverage shopping areas (20m for the warehouse) Premise not used as a residential house/room

Application Submission:
After successfully submitting the application, the applicant receives a billing number (e.g., 88…) to use to pay
Payment:
A billing number/ID will be generated for payment. Click Pay to complete the transaction.
Applicants can choose the mode of payment.
Certificate/License Delivery:
Once your application is approved, you will receive your e-license.
