How to Apply for Paint Tinting, Packaging & Repacking Premise Registration

This service enables a business operating a paint tinting, packaging, and repacking facility to register and comply with Rwanda Inspectorate, Competition and Consumer Protection Authority (RICA) regulations. This registration certificate is then used to obtain an operating license

What do you need before you start applying?

Here’s all you need:

  • An active OneStopCenter account. To create an account, click here.

  • Valid company or individual TIN: Required to apply.

  • Valid mobile phone number or email address: To receive updates and track your application.

Basic Requirements.

The location should be:

  • 60 m away from water sources, open storms, water channels, or water catchments

  • 200 m away from areas that are subject to flooding

  • 200 m away from food processing facilities, including restaurants


Required attachments 

  • Premise ownership or rent agreement of a premise for use during storage of paints

  • Business registration certificate from RDB


Conditional attachments 

  • Copy of passport

  • RICA Registration certificate
