How to Apply for Garage Premise Registration

This service allows a business operating a vehicle garage to register its premises and comply with the Rwanda Inspectorate, Competition and Consumer Protection Authority (RICA). This registration is then used to obtain an operating license. 

Requirements before applying

To proceed with your application, you will need:

• An active OneStopCenter account. To create an account, click here.

• A valid Tax Identification Number (TIN).

• A valid mobile phone number or email address.

Prepare the required supporting documents 

• Required attachments 

  • Environmental Impact audit certificate and report (Or occupancy permit for a newly constructed garage)

  • Approval document from the competent authority stating that the site complies with the district's physical master plan

  • Proof of staff qualification as prescribed in RS 402 Garages, Construction, and management requirements

  • Copy of garage insurance documents

  • Business Registration certificate from RDB

• After submission, you will receive an application number that can be used to track your application status.
