How to Apply for a Milk Collection Center License

This service allows milk collection center business operators to register and obtain an operating license from the Rwanda Inspectorate, Competition and Consumer Protection Authority (RICA). RICA will conduct a field visit to ensure the premises are compliant with RICA standards and regulations.
Requirements before applying
To proceed with your application, you will need:
An active OneStopCenter account. To create an account, click here.
A valid Tax Identification Number (TIN).
A valid mobile phone number or email address.
Prepare the following documents:
Required attachments
Business Registration certificate from RDB
Signed a contract with a qualified staff member in charge of milk testing
List of workers with valid medical health certificates showing that they are free from food-borne diseases
Register of farmers or milk collectors working with the collection center
A document given by the respective authority showing that water and electricity are sufficient & accessible for the Milk Collection Center.
Conditional attachments
A copy of the operational license issued by RICA
A copy of the lease agreement if the operator is not the owner
Passport copy
Optional attachments
Copy of your latest RICA Registration certificate
List and address of aggregation points operating under the collection center

Next Steps and support information
After applying, you will receive an application number to track your application.
Once approved, your milk collection center license will be available for download on the platform.
