How to Apply for Milk Collection Center Premise Registration

This service allows a business operating a milk collection center to register and comply with the Rwanda Inspectorate, Competition, and Consumer Protection Authority (RICA) regulations. This registration certificate is then used to obtain an operating license.
What do you need before you start applying?
Here’s all you need:
An active OneStopCenter account. To create an account, click here.
Valid company or individual TIN: Required to apply.
Valid mobile phone number or email address: To receive updates and track your application.
Location Requirements
A milk collection center must be wall-fenced with at least a 2 m high fence.
A milk collection center must be at least 2 kilometers away from public waste disposal area.
A milk collection center must be at least 500 meters away from industries emitting pollutants.
A milk collection center must be in a plot of at least 300 square meters
A milk collection center must have access to a three-phase power line
A milk collection center must have access to portable water
Must comply with layout, design, and structure requirements.
Required attachments
Copy of premises ownership permits or a copy of lease agreement
Approval from the district office that the MCC/MAP is allowed to operate in the given area
List of personnel and their medical certificates
Proof of access of 3 phase power lines from Rwanda Energy Group(REG)
Proof of access to potable water from the Water and Sanitation Corporation (WASAC)
Business Registration certificate from RDB
Conditional attachments
Copy of passport
Copy of your latest RICA Registration certificate
